AI have a confession...
What's good?
I'm not gonna lie. I use ChatGPT to help me write content.
I just don't publish it as is though.
Some days I just don't have the creative spark I need to write meaningful content.
ChatGPT comes in clutch and delivers the goods.
Of course, the results areonly as good as the prompts you give it.
But it's worth it when you've got writer's block or just can't find the right words or sometimes have no idea where to start.
Now you're probably seeing a lot of folks talking about websites being taken down by Google and a lot of them are guilty of publishing mass produced AI content.
I'm all about positive energy and I'm not gonna say they deserve it. But if you're not making the web a better place and not delivering on a better user experience, what are you even doing?
I just gave a client 4 blog posts written by ChatGPT.
I told them to read it, edit it, throw in their tuppence worth and just let their voice come through.
Why? Because even though I gave them all the things to write about, they still haven't.
But me giving them pre-written blog posts is jolting them into action.
They now have something to work with instead of starting from scratch.
They're not lazy. They just have the burden of knowledge. They know too much and don't know where to start.
But now they do.
And that's the beauty of this age we're in.
We have tools that break those blockers and that save us hours and hours of time.
It makes SEO work a lot easier too, especially when so much of it involves content.
So my point here is this: these tools are a means to an end but they need to be used responsibly.
You know it makes sense.
Peace,
Jaaved
