How history repeats itself in business
Trial and error is a good method if you have millions of years to iterate, like mother nature did.
But we don't have that kind of time. We need to start from what previous generations had done. That's why books, videos, scientific papers, etc. are needed.
Just like that, your business also has a life cycle. If you want it to outlast you, and the present generation of people, you need tools for collective learning & capture of experience.
The best way to do that is by writing and recording live examples.
The only penalty of not doing this is that someone will have to go on repeating the same things again and again. Or when that does not happen, history repeats itself!
