What it takes to perfectly polish systems
In the software world, it is well known that the last 10% is the hardest.
That is simply because, as you build, there are many parts and pieces. You need to tie everything together without all those pieces effecting each other.
Finally, as all the parts play together to form al whole, there are always unforseen niggles and bugs that come up.
Because of all this, the last 10% can end up taking 90% of the time!
Why am I telling you all this? It's so you know what to expect. That makes the journey a little easier. Also, do not spend too much time on the polish. As long as 80 to 90 % is fulfilled, move on with your work or other systems. The 100% will come with continuous improvement.
