How to convert data to intelligence

Every system has the following layers:

1. Information. All the info that's required to carry out activities.

2. Business logic. How things work in your business.

3. Reports. How to make it easy to understand the information.

4. Automation. Everything a computer can do, the computer should do.

5. Intelligence. Understanding what the patterns of data mean & their effects on your business. Helps with decision making.

Each of these depend on the previous one. So, for a solid system, it's best to complete each phase before moving to the next.
