Speed of feedback
How to normalise feedback
The quicker the feedback, the quicker the result.
If it takes a year to understand how the performance was, it will take at least that much time to improve or know.
Conversely, if the same feedback is given immediately, at least that person knows and can take their time to improve.
So, when building systems, ensure feedback is immediate and consistent.
This also normalises feedback. That's a huge advantage when it comes to dealing with people and creating a fair culture.
