Self selling systems
What makes people willing to use systems on their own
This is the ultimate indicator of good systems. If you see people preferring systematic ways to do any work, it means they see some value in it.
If you hear phrases like “have to”, “have been told to” or “no option but to” when it comes to using systems, it’s basically forced usage.
On the other hand, if you hear people trying to sell systems to their colleagues, sing its praises, tell how it’s much better to do it that way, etc. You know you’ve got a good system.
A good system means it makes their work faster, easier, better or cheaper.
A bunch of these kinds of tiny, tiny systems put together in a cohesive & complimentary way becomes a complete system. Meaning, they should talk to each other and help each other out too.
When creating systems, this is a tangible goal to work towards.
When crafting a business, this is what will spell freedom for you as the owner.
