How feelings are in-built indicators

What works well feels just right and really good.

You know the feeling. When you see a million parts of a machine working together as a single engine. Or a crowd of people overflowing with some awesome energy at a concert.

Or, in business, when the sale closed just right. Or everything came together beautifully to deliver the project.

That is a universal feeling.

Now, the word feeling has collected some bad connotations — of being mushy and unreliable.

But, it is also the most direct and acute indicators. You just need to ground it with data and hard facts.
