Once and for all
How to make work easier, even as complexity grows
Every activity that you think is going to happen again (even if it is only once more) should become a process. A process is a simple recepie (SOP) on how to do it again.
If you have that, at least you don't have to fumble around and somehow do it the next time. Or that one thing you vaguely remember you needed to do for the process to work. Or spend triple the time to delegate the work instead of doing it yourself.
These are just a few examples where an SOP saves you. It is also the starting point of automation.
Once you have a first draft, the next time you will have the mental bandwidth to fill in gaps and improve it. This is how you make work easier and clearer, even as it becomes more and more complex.
Happy SOPs!
