Now is easy
How to use the power of now to simplify complex things.
When you have a big, complex, intimidating task to do; it's easy to get overwhelmed.
But you know what's easier? This exercise:
Imagine you have only this moment to do the task. What are the “overview” or high level things to be done to successfully finish the big task?
If it takes more than now to even define them, then you need to break it down even more.
Even if it looks too simplistic, just write it for now. You can always add more detail under it.
If you read these points carefully, you will notice, there's actually just one fundamental point — the first one here.
The rest of the points are just more aspects about it.
This is exactly how a lot of things become in our head. We think this is a huge exercise of 6 points, but it turned out to actually be just 1.
Okay, fine. I rest my case here. But here's the thing — try this exercise and see. Only then you'll know how powerful it can be.
It's the whole reason a lot of us like the last minute rush of figuring out hings in the heat of the moment.
