Incremental Improvements

How to build systems for your business

Do not try to get it right from the start. Start with what you have, then keep improving.

Again, this seems overly obvious, but we often forget to do this in reality. Just check the dusty corners of your mind. How many things have not been started simply because you don't have clarity about it.

A good exercise is to write down what you are trying to create, even if you don't know the first thing about it. Start in some form, even if it's just a description of what's needed.

A common area is KRAs and KPIs. Many business owners struggle to define these clearly. But, start somewhere. The awkwardness that will come while trying to explain it to your team will show you what's missing!

Anyway, you can also write your thoughts about it. Pros & cons, remarks, weird tangential thoughts, etc. No need to show it to anyone. But it's a fantastic way to get your mind working.

Cheers!
