Amazon is talking about closing it in February 2025. New episodes cannot be added after December 4th, 2024.
Whatever I had on Vella will be pulled down as soon as possible, hopefully right now. However, I have no control over when the unpublishing will happen.
And I don’t know yet what I will do with the unfinished stories: 1) put them on some other serial platform, 2) finish them as books, or 3) work on other stories.
Option 3 is the most spontaneous option. So, likely, I will go with that. Fortunately, the realm of storytelling is plentiful—unlike the self-imposed limitations of Kindle Vella, which led to its shutdown, in my opinion.
