Join us for an open discussion of all the most current events, including the dramatic developments in Venezuela—where the government has declared a state of emergency following the U.S. military operation to capture former President Maduro—and the broader implications for international law and executive authority. Additionally, if the Supreme Court issues its much-anticipated ruling on the IEEPA tariffs case (V.O.S. Selections v. Trump) before our session, we'll discuss what the decision means for the limits of presidential emergency powers.
