Isolde, Isolde recap + upcoming Petrodesire show

Thank you to everyone who came to the opening of Isolde, Isolde on March 6 and to all who visited our first group show during open hours over the past month.
Isolde, Isolde featured work by Claudia Corujo, Praise Fuller, Christopher Gambino, Tristan Higginbotham, Bennett Koziak, Weihui Lu, and Helene von Schirach, as well as a cabinet with copies of Are.na Annual vol. 7: Pool; Ecoslay: an Anthology; a selection of secondhand books from Trains; and small works by some of the aforementioned artists.

For those who missed it, the exhibition was featured in COPY, the Are.na Community Newspaper and IMPULSE Magazine. Official documentation and the press release are now on our Are.na and our website.

On Friday, April 3, we held a closing performance by the virtuosic pierre (Isabella Bustanoby), with a string quartet opening act performed by Isabella with Lily Desmond, Lila Lifton, and Sean Brennan, followed by eidolic solo set and rendition of the old folk ballad “Willie O’ Winsbury” by Isabella and Lily. Happy belated birthday, Isabella!

We’re now deep in preparations for The Register of Uncollected Petrodesires, the first exhibition by Ariel West, with a sound installation by Andrea Moreno, opening Friday, April 24. More on that soon.

In the meantime, we would love for you to take this questionnaire.

xoxo,
Genevieve and Talia
