ISC24TX Newsletter #6 - That's a Wrap!

It’s hard to believe that the 7th Annual International Sketchnote Camp is over! We sure did have some fun!

Sketchnoters gathered from around the world to learn from each other!
What a wonderful weekend it was! While a little smaller and a little more intimate than past ISC events, we had a blast getting to know each other and share our skills, perspectives, and talents.

We’d like to share some raw numbers with you:
35 in-person participants
37 participants via the live stream
16 countries represented
3 speakers
4 workshops
1 awesome game
20 BarCamp sessions
2 podcast recordings
10 sponsors
1 dining barge
… and way too much good food (including a birthday cake)!
That’s it for now. There will be another newsletter this weekend with a few more details about it!
Be sure to follow ISC24TX on Instagram and follow the hashtag #isc24tx to see what happened last weekend!
The Rise of El Marco, the official mascot of ISC24TX

Each in-person participant received a Neuland BigOne®, a tiny plastic cowboy hat, and a sticker sheet to make their own “El Marco”, the official mascot of ISC24TX.
Later this week, a PDF of the sticker sheet will be released so that you can print your own and dress up your own BigOne®, whether its an Outliner, an Art, or a Cover - we’ve got you!

Stay tuned!
Huge “Thank You”s!
This could not have happened without the team of Michael “Prof” Clayton and Mike Rohde and their tireless efforts to make ISC24TX a reality. Let’s give them a round of applause!
We would also like to thank our other speakers and workshop leaders: Alejo Porras, Georgina Dean, Annelise Sandberg, Ben Norris, and Ximena Vila Ferral, our “Sketchnote Lotería” games master!
And a shoutout to all of the session leaders who answered the call to share their knowledge with those in attendance.
And last of all (but certainly not least) our sponsors! All y’all’s financial support helped to make ISC24TX fun and fulfilling!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Where will the ISC go next?
While an announcement of the location for next year was not made at the end of ISC24TX, there are several groups interested in hosting ISC25?? and ISC26??.
Past ISC organizers will be talking with these groups over the coming weeks. We hope to have an announcement soon!
It’s been great… but stay tuned for more from ISC4TX via social media, our website, and this newsletter.
Take care,
Prof Clayton & Mike Rohde
