In 11 days, folks from all over the world with gather in San Antonio, TX, for the 7th edition of the International Sketchnote Camp. Full Conference, Single Day (Saturday or Sunday), and Saturday Morning live stream tickets are still available…

Item #1 - Tickets Sales Extended Until Wednesday, July 31st!

With the popularity of the live stream tickets this week and inquiries that have been received from people still considering attending the event live, ticket sales will be extended from Friday, July 26th, to Wednesday, July 31st.

The following tickets are still available:

• Full-Conference (All three days) - $220

• Saturday Only (Planned Sessions) - $120

• Sunday Only (BarCamp Sessions) - $120

• Saturday Morning Live Stream (2-hours of Content) - $30

You can still save $20 off of the in-person tickets using the code ‘earlybird’ on EventBrite.

Item #2 - Welcome to Teachers!

ICS24TX is a perfect event for teachers in K-12 settings to gain Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE). By hosting this event on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word, the Dreeben School of Education has granted us the privilege to offer the CPEs to attendees.

We have learned that using sketchnotes in the classroom helps students learn by combining visual and textual elements, enhancing memory retention, fostering creativity, and making complex ideas easier to understand. It also encourages active listening and deeper comprehension.

We know that the start of the new school year is right around the corner but this a great way to earn some CPEs this summer. Join us for one day or both days. Teachers will receive 7-clock hours of CPEs per day they attend.

Way back in February 2017, Rob Dimeo hosted a sketchnote symposium in Maryland. At that meeting, Rob was joined by Mike Rodhe, Prof Clayton, and Steve Silbert and the “Old Guard” was born.

Soon after, Mauro Toselli joined the ranks. Over the past seven years, these five gentlemen have supported each other and the sketchnote community at large in many different ways.

Rob is excited to attend his second ISC event (it’s been a minute since he was at ISC18LX) with Mike and Prof, while Steve and Mauro will be watching from home via the live stream. Thanks to the “O.G.” for their support.
