That’s all I dropped by to say! I’ve got to get back to work over here now that Kid #2 is finally back in daycare after an annoying bout of yet another daycare illness (conjunctivitis… agonized groan). I am in the midst of a heavy-lifting revision for my next yet-to-be-announced book and kicking around a new YA idea to try and find the ending.

I’m in that daydreamy, mind-gymnastics, walking-the-dog-while-lost-in-thought-counts-as-working stage of novel iteration for both projects. This is both frustrating (I, who love quantifying progress, cannot quantify progress!!) and delightful. Like, wandering the park listening to music trying to pick apart the problems of fictional people in my head is… my job??? Somehow??
