Monkey Man @ Village East by Angelika

I've seen too many very upsetting movies recently. I'm feeling in the mood for something much easier to digest.

Naturally, that means Monkey Man. Targeted at those who think "John Wick could stand to be more of a savage, primal force of nature in a monkey mask," it seems like just the thing to calm my nerves.

Angelika Village East has assigned seating, so as usual I'll be reserving seats for whoever responds to this email! Deadline will be noon tomorrow :) I'm going to the 7:30 showing and the film has a 2 hour runtime.

I'm feeling too burned out from work to write a proper blurb on last week's screening of Burning, so I'll just reiterate my previous message: go see it. It's only very upsetting.
