El Hadji Malick Diouf
A talented and versatile left-sided player, El Hadji Malick Diouf joins West Ham from Czech champions Slavia Prague. Born in Dakar, Senegal, Diouf’s journey has taken him across Europe at a young age. He began his footballing education at the Galaxy Football Academy in his homeland before a trial led him to Norwegian club Tromsø.
His strong performances caught the eye of Slavia Prague, where he made an immediate impact, helping them win the league title. Diouf is comfortable playing as a left wing-back or a traditional left-back, known for his attacking intent and ability to get forward.
Kyle Walker-Peters
Kyle Walker-Peters is a versatile and experienced full-back who arrives at West Ham on a free transfer from Southampton. A product of the Tottenham Hotspur academy, the London-born defender won the FIFA U-20 World Cup with England in 2017, a testament to his early promise. After a handful of appearances for his boyhood club, he made a permanent move to Southampton, where he established himself as a Premier League regular.
Known for his technical proficiency, he is equally comfortable playing on either the right or left side of the defense. His consistent form at St. Mary's earned him two senior England caps in 2022 and inclusion in the EFL Championship Team of the Season during Southampton's recent promotion campaign.
Daniel Cummings
A promising young Scottish forward, Daniel Cummings joins West Ham from Celtic on a long-term deal. Born in Glasgow, Cummings is a product of Celtic’s youth system, where he was a standout performer and a prolific goalscorer. He made his breakthrough in the Celtic B team, excelling in the Lowland League and the UEFA Youth League, where he was averaging more than a goal per game.
A notable achievement in his youth career was scoring the winner in the Scottish Youth Cup final against rivals Rangers. Known for his goalscoring instinct and physical presence, Cummings' signing represents a significant investment in a young player with high potential for the future.
