Two flavors of IS Jan 17th - intro and general sessions
Friends of Intentional Society,
What intent does someone hold when they RSVP to a video call? 😉 In our first session 6 of 12 showed up, then last week we went 2 for 9. I do find myself curious: How many were just taking a speculative option? Or how many ways did "life happen" to disconnect someone's action from their intention? Has anyone felt shame from missing one? I hope not - I have never really seen that serve people well as a learning mechanism.
If you are among that number, I want to tell you, lovingly, that I don't care. I'm not offended - not for my own ego's sake, nor on behalf of the concept of Intentional Society. This isn't a damn marketing funnel, that I want to push people through to run up the numbers. Please, drift as close or as far as suits you. If you, in your life and your context, resonate in a way that brings your hell yeah! self into the (virtual) circle - or if that never happens - I'm pretty convinced that (to borrow from OST) the right people will show up at the right time for the only path that will have been possible.
This isn't a simple thing to approach right now! If a mature Intentional Society looks like "a club for people who want to grow," then what's currently on offer is mostly a club-building club. 🤹🏻♀️ Maybe you're jazzed about both the club and the meta-club! Or maybe some would prefer to just ride the bicycle, while others enjoy tinkering with the gears more. It requires a combination of adventurousness and determination to both ride and build the bicycle at the same time. 🤣

1pm Pacific - Intro Session
This will be our third informational/introductory session. If you haven't been to one yet, start here! (Recommended, but not a hard requirement to attend the next session.) 55 minutes.
2pm Pacific - General Session
This will be our first general session - a full-group meeting where we will make real decisions to steer the group. It's going to be mostly meta, but I also promise we'll play one interpersonal connecting game. This is open to all persons interested in participating, as we have no definitions or agreements for membership or anything else yet. 90 minutes.
