IS: Surprise lovability
Upcoming events:
- Saturday April 4: open IS Connection Call
Last week's newsletter was Glowing in the same direction (the post-celebration glow) and last Sunday's Community Hub session was titled "Transition Time" wrapping up the season.
No Community call this Sunday — it's our seasonal rest week.
The first 25 folks have joined the IS web, making it past the friction of writing a three-sentence biography. We'll be running Presence Pods and a Gumball mixer starting in April, with the first Quarterly Convening to be held in June.
The final Being With It All of the hike has completed — next hike starts in May.
Our webapp (why yes, it's our app for our web — pun not intended, but now fully embraced) software development project kicks off in a few days.
An hour ago, my kid puked again. Surprise final announcement from reality this evening. Keepin' it real here with this newsletter.
I guess they're not over this illness yet. Turning toward being with it all, allowing what was already there, embracing devotion as I cleaned the bed, carpet, etc, has me accessing the tenderness, the love available even in the mundane minutia of e.g. rinsing the dirty tank of the carpet cleaner.
You don't get a more-involved newsletter tonight. I get to step into being a loving dad and give my kid a clean bed to sleep on. Time passes either way. Right action is clear when need meets capability (and capacity meets complexity). Integration is wisdom — and sometimes that happens on hands and knees in the here-and-now instead of mental visions of future worlds. It's all loveable. Always has been.
