IS: IS ecosystem mid-season status
Upcoming open events:
- Saturday, May 11: Exploratory Series session #3 — Alexander Technique with Michael Ashcroft
- Friday, May 17: Open-to-all Office Hours
all start @ 1pm Pacific Time (4pm Eastern, 8pm UTC). S14 Core Calls on Sundays for members run every week through June 23.
What's going on in the IS ecosystem:
- Alexander Technique this Saturday! Michael says we’ll be exploring how to investigate and navigate the qualities of attention, awareness and habitual patterns of psychophysical tension in service of your self-unfolding.
- Also, our friends at Life Itself are hosting a Second Renaissance mapping hackathon starting tomorrow (Friday to Saturday) if you'd care to help out with some research - no experience required.
- An inaugural Stewardship Circle has been formed with a charter of piloting governance and establishing future governance patterns for IS on the arc from founder control to community self-ownership. "Should IS incorporate as a non-profit?" is on the docket.
- The core membership of IS is halfway through a "flotilla" series of small-group pods independently doing case work practice for each member. Organized around emergent life-relevant themes, these pods are finding that case work continues to be a rewarding foundational practice type.
- Intentional Ventures' founding team has been sensing into the possibilities and each other in its first few weeks. Future updates to come as we further self-organize, but it's good to stay attuned to going at the speed of trust.
