Practice Dojo
First session in TWO DAYS - click that registration link above! In the Connection Lab sessions we will practice making contact with each other, human to human, and refine our toolkit of practices for making connections and bridging differences. Success means that you'll be able to add these to your relational toolkit, becoming more easily able to connect with anyone you choose to.
This first lab session will experiment with a cocktail of Empathy Circling and Authentic Relating elements aiming at a "feeling deeply heard" recipe.
Community self-organization
I skipped the Community Call last Sunday, as I travelled down in Southern Washington for the Microsolidarity and Ecoversities summer camps. I haven't re-connected yet in conversation with members, so I don't even know yet how it went! The thing I notice about that, is that there is nothing that could have happened that would not be a learning experience held in the collective okay-ness of the whole community. Our self-organizing might be more open-space-y or pod-like for this four-week mini-series, and either way I'm celebrating the by-members for-members ownership of desire and agency in the spirit of our continual orientation to "becoming who we want to be."
What is the Second Renaissance?
If that question sparks your interest in the breakdown of "modernity" and the cultural paradigm evolving in response, you could try this upcoming two-day discussion-centric course on July 31 and Aug 1. Click here to learn more and register.
