Intentional Society: Desires | Unlocking

Our community practice session this last week explored this series of questions under the banner of self-leadership:
- How do we relate to our own desires?
- How do we relate to letting others know our desires?
- How do we relate to taking action to bring about our desires?
A juicy line of inquiry for most of us at some point down the sequence of interior-to-exterior movement. Where might you tend to run into resistance in knowing, accepting, communicating, and moving yourself toward your desires?
I've started to zoom out a bit as we enter the last month of the year, with three more weeks left in our usual season format. Looking at the Season of Change initial framing from a few months ago, I'll note with a wry smile that we don't seem to "have" many "answers" firmly in our grasp. And the transformation certainly is not felt and real yet — we can point to things we've tried, and the next iteration of those things is not yet in effect, and the learning is in our heads in various degrees and dimensions.
One major thread under the surface has been (noticing, embracing, progressing) the search for clarity of purpose — aligning and refining the bedrock of Intentional Society underneath the experiments. New iterations of mission, vision, and strategy, alongside personality, voice, and vibe/aesthetics are aimed at cleaning up and enhancing the resonance that people can attune to and vibrate with in contact with IS, in order to unlock the energy/engagement/leadership of present and future members.
The essence of this transformation is unlocking the next unfolding. Unlocking the lightbulb moments of understanding, the excitement of making an impactful contribution to a meaningful cause, the "yes"-ness and "go"-ness on moving toward integrous desires, the ability to communicate to a friend what we find special here in IS... Unfolding into a healthy and energetic multi-polar landscape with more strands of calling and activating and practicing and building...
