Hormuz reprices to 12.5%, Saylor stays furniture

Sunday, June 7, 2026 — Edition 1

The thread today is Iran. Two of the three markets we are watching price the Strait of Hormuz disruption as durable, not transient — and the one market that has nothing to do with Iran (MicroStrategy buying more Bitcoin, again) is the calmest 92.7% on the board.

🌍 Geopolitics

Strait of Hormuz traffic returns to normal by end of June?

At 12.5%, the Hormuz market has collapsed 38 points in a month on $2.6M of weekly volume. A month ago the consensus was roughly a coin flip; now the market is pricing a structural disruption to one-fifth of global seaborne oil. The repricing is the story — traders have stopped treating this as a transient supply scare and started treating it as the new baseline.

Kharg Island no longer under Iranian control by June 30?

The headline number — 2.75% — looks like a non-event. The interesting number is the $1.8M of weekly volume changing hands at that price, and the 5.75-point drift down over the past month. Someone is paying real money to sit on a tail outcome that, if it resolved Yes, would rewrite the oil map. The market thinks it won't. The market is also showing up.

📈 Crypto

Will MicroStrategy announce a Bitcoin purchase June 2-8?

92.7%, unchanged on the month, $450K weekly volume. This is the most boring market in the set, and that is the point: the market has stopped treating Saylor's weekly buy as news and started treating it as a utility bill. When a 92.7% probability stops moving, it has graduated from forecast to assumption — and BTC's demand floor inherits that assumption whether the rest of the tape acknowledges it or not.

Two markets repricing Iran, one market refusing to reprice Saylor. The first set is doing the work of news; the second is doing the work of furniture.
