well i worked a bunch to finish a Truth Scrapper milestone! did you wishlist it btw this is my next game and we’re like so close to a milestone i can taste it. now i only have two ingame days to write and implement. the final countdown… now im on break which means i am working the exact same number of hours as when im not on break

non work related stuff: i got into slay the spire finally! it’s a good game! people were not lying!!! i tried 1 first, and then some friends told me 2 was better, and they are not lying. 1 is good, 2 is better. so now im playing 2 and struggling to pass ascension 2! we are learning

oh! if you want a game to play in an afternoon, cannot recommend Mesmalie enough. this game looks gorgeous and has a great story and will stay with me for a bit.

um what else. i got apple TV again so i could have something to watch in the background. and for years my mom has been recommending the show Slow Horses to me. i watched half of ep 1 years ago and decided it wasnt my thing, but whatever im bored ill try watching it again. and promptly watched seasons 1 thru 5 in a month. im sorry mom, you were right, this british spy show goes hard

being on apple tv again, i tried catching up to some other apple tv shows, namely Your Friends and Neighbors and Bad Sisters. I watched season 1 for both. They’re fine! nothing extraordinary but they were fun to watch. HOWEVER both of those shows had real nice season 1 finales, where everything is bookended real nicely, and so i will not watch season 2. i can tell season 2 for both were ordered after season 1 did well and they had to figure out how to write a sequel. i am not interested

uuuh i also read the last murder at the end of the world by stuart turton finally. i say finally because its been on my to-read list since 2024. nice book! nice mystery!

yes one day ill read The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by the same guy. yes i know it has a timeloop in it. yes ill read it. but not today

oh man!!! i actually finally read Waiting for Godot!!! thats the play!!! the absurdist play that made absurdism happen!!! and guys. i am not a big fan of plays but now i gotta see this one irl. this is tumblr before tumblr. very fun play
