Hello, creative friends, I've been thinking lately about just how special this creative community has become. Whether we connect here, on YouTube, Instagram, or somewhere along the way through ISC, those little creative connections truly enrich my creative soul. We're creating from different homes, different states, and even different parts of the world — yet somehow we continue meeting around paper, ink, rubber stamps, old treasures and the simple pleasure of making something with our hands. I am incredibly grateful for that. And quite a few of you have been creating alongside me for so long that it feels like much more than simply customer and maker. It feels like a community of creative friends. A Little Peek at What's Been Happening The journal pictured above came together during a recent YouTube Live, and I had such a wonderful time reading your reactions to it. Some of the imagery and creative direction you're seeing here will be showing up again as I begin sharing more of what I've been developing for the ISC Q4 release. I also want to thank you for the wonderful feedback on the special curated offering I put together with the Q3 release. I listened carefully to what you enjoyed about having imagery, paper elements and deeply etched red rubber working together, and that has given me plenty to think about as I plan what comes next. |
