inkelinks S02E19
¡Hola, amigos! I hope you had a great week. I know I did, one of the reasons being that I’ve been finding time lately to cure a weekly episode. Before continuing with the regular links section, though, I’ve an important announcement to make.
On your privacy
When I created this newsletter my solely goal was to share the vast amount of links I’ve collected through the years. And while I confess sometimes I’ve found the basic analytics Buttondown provides me quite useful, I don’t really care to know who opened which email, or what are the most engaging links, so I decided to turn email tracking off.
I want to apologise for the privacy invasion that meant that for the past 23 episodes I was able to track these inoffensive looking metrics. It was an honest mistake and it won’t happen again.

Title says it all, and Camille Fournier needs no introduction. Do yourself a favor and go read this list and start working on each point. - Best Practices for Effective Code Review [8m]
Even if you have a decade or more working with code reviews this is still an interesting article not only to read but to pass along to your team. - How malloc broke Serenity’s JPGLoader, or: how to win the lottery [7m]
Bugs not always are obvious, and sometimes things work just because you’re lucky.
Video of the week
Life in Life [2m]
I always found Conway’s Game of Life fascinating, and this short video shows one of the most fascinating aspects of Life: given that it’s Touring complete you can “program” any kind of machine… including Life itself.
