We made to 2021! I hope this year is far better than last year. One thing is for sure: this newsletter will continue to deliver weekly links to your inbox for your entertainment and pleasure!

As said in last email, I'm going to try a few different things with this newsletter, one of those being how many links per issue you will find.

In the meantime, I'll be sitting right next to the swimming pool, beer in hand, curating links for the next issue!

  This. Nothing else than this. I love programming and new technologies and shiny new things, but this article hits it out of the park. Sure, not every website can be build like this, but for many things just HTML, some CSS and a web server is all that is needed. That’s one of the reason my website is so simple.
• Bash Strict Mode [12m]
  I love writing Bash scripts, and for a long while I've been doing this and my scripts have become more maintainable and predictable. If you ever need to write a script longer than 3 lines then you should definitely need start doing this.
• ‘Real’ Programming Is an Elitist Myth [6m]
  Interesting thoughts in this article. For a while I was one of the people mentioned in the article, thinking of programming as only writing code and nothing else. And while I don’t 100% agree with the final remarks maybe I do it at 95%.
