Iheanyi's Newsletter #2: Foo Bar Baz
And we're back with the next installment of my newsletter!
Productivity
Using Gmail More Effectively
I used to use Inbox by Google for managing my email, but this process for managing my emails has made it way more sane and easier to maintain Inbox Zero. I highly suggest giving it a whirl and see how if it turbocharges your productivity with regards to email at all.
Two Black Nerds: Habits
Two Black Nerds is a podcast run by me and my best friend, Romeo. We use this episode to discuss concepts from the book, "The Power of Habit" and what habit loops are and how they are formed, changed, and destroyed.
Programming/Technology
Buttondown Email
You'll notice in this newsletter that I'm using a new newsletter service, Buttondown Email. This was created by my buddy Justin Duke and provides a nicer workflow for me in comparison to TinyLetter, so I hope it brings you all as much delight as it does me!
Protocol Buffers
Something I've been in love with recently is the usage of protocol buffers (protobufs for short), especially while coding up Go programs.
Stop Writing Tests
My buddy Jacky wrote an interesting blog post back in the day about why you should stop writing tests for your side projects. Him and I have discussed this before, so check out his take on the subject.

Kelsey Hightower's Keynote – DevOps Day 2017
This is probably one of the most relatable talks that I've ever listened to at a conference. Before watching this video, make sure to get some tissues because it was pretty touching.
Design
An Interview with Ian Williams
On Interface Lovers, we interviewed Ian Williams, a designer at Mono Mono. Here's a knowledge bomb from the interview, "Empathy is a muscle that you must exercise frequently."
Arturo Draws
A friend of mine shared me this site, but if you like hip-hop or sports, you'll love the various posters he has on his site.
That's all for now! Until next time y'all.
