September 2024 - Playing Fiddle While The Ship Sinks
If you’re reading this, I need a favour.
Hullo folks. It’s been a little while. Thanks for your patience. This is a cross-post(?) of sorts from Cohost, the last good social media platform, and it’s a little shameless - but in the wake of Cohost’s closure, I’m feeling all sorts of ways about social media, and the ways in which we’re made to bend ourselves as creatives in the new 20s. If you’ve already read this on Cohost: thank you. If you haven’t: thanks in advance.
If you’re reading this, I need a favour.
I want to score things. I’ve had a few opportunities to do so in the past and I loved it. I want to try and make that into a career, if possible. Hence this fairly shameless request:
If you are an animator, or filmmaker, or indie game maker, or podcaster, or working on anything that needs my style of music - piano lead, neo-classical, with hints of Breath of the Wild and a warm, pervasive melancholy - hit me up. I want to work with you. I want to write music for your thing. Email me here: talktome@iamreeder.com
If you aren’t any of these things, but know some folks who are? This is the favour I’m asking: point them in my direction. There may be some of you reading who have done this in the past already and for that I could not be more grateful. Word of mouth is basically all I’ve got for the moment.
If you follow me and you’re already in the game of making stuff, I’d love to talk to you for advice, if you’re open to it.
