Say goodbye to the Hyperlink Blog…
…and hello to the Hyperlink Library!
We’ve redesigned our (former) blog, and planted the seeds of our new Library — a collection of resources on teaching and course creation, influential books, and more.
Visit the Hyperlink Library: https://hyperlink.academy/library
It now features collections grouping connected posts together, and living documents, evolving resources and guides to important aspects of learning design.
This is laying the foundation for our long-term plan of building an independent internet “Center for Teaching and Learning”, our version of the sort of resource center some universities have to help teachers design and implement great learning experiences.
To start, we’ve published three new pieces:
Book Review: Notes On My Dunce Cap — A great short read that includes a manifesto for syllabus design, notes on creative pedagogy, and provocations for shaping an engaging and effective classroom experience.
How to Think About Course Pricing — How much should a course cost? In this guide, we explore a few different lenses and factors to consider.
Hyperlink: A Vision for Learning Futures — Where do we see Hyperlink evolving in the future? A rhizomatic learning network. A home for lifelong learning. An R&D lab for internet pedagogy…and more.
We have more posts in progress — a few in the works include a Catalog of Course Structures, a guide on Designing Accessible and Inclusive Learning, and a guide to Retros for Learning. We also look forward to highlighting more of our favorite books :)
You can comment on these posts by clicking “discuss this on the forum” at the bottom of each one.
Enjoy, and let us know if there are particular things you’d like to see added to the Hyperlink Library!
