Hey!
This coming Monday Dec. 21 Hyperlink Academy is hosting a Hyperhour from 5-6pm EST (10-11pm UTC)
This is a casual happy hour, open to anyone in the Hyperlink community — teachers and learners, past present and future. And it will be in an interactive social space, rather than video call; see below for details.
The general theme for this meetup will be digging into two questions: What do you want to learn? and How can Hyperlink help support your learning goals?
We’ll have a few specific activities / topics to brainstorm around, like:
No preparation required, and general curiosity welcome!
Please join us if you’d like to hear what we’re working on, meet other folks interested in creative internet learning, and talk through any course / club / learning ideas.
We’ll gather on Gather, a virtual space with audio/video chat. Indeed this will also be a fun experiment with social learning spaces. RSVP here:
RSVP for the Hyperlink Hyperhour!
And once you do, you’ll see the link to join the Gather space on the event details page. (Oh yes: we’re also testing a new Hyperlink Events feature!)
We’re limiting RSVPs to 30 people, to account for the maximum simultaneous participants in the basic Gather space. This is fairly impromptu and we probably won’t fill up that quickly, but please only RSVP if you plan to drop by.
See you there!
