Hi all!
Brendan here from Hyperlink. I'm working on refactoring our newsletter, and want to get your input on something new we'd like to try.
Some of our big goals for what we publish, in both the Hyperlink Library and this newsletter, are to share:
It's this last point I want to talk about today. I'm thinking about how we can use this newsletter for a Hyperlink community digest.
First — a brief reminder interlude — we've got 2 clubs, 3 events, and 6 courses starting in the next few weeks.
Graciela's Principles of Animation course starts tomorrow, and Adolfo's doing a free Intro to Antifragile Writing event tomorrow as well; both have a few spots open!
Colin's Dead Languages Society starts studying Old English this weekend, for the club's first cohort. And more coming up next week ✨
Okay, back to the idea of a community digest!
I think one of the most valuable things this newsletter can be is a space for Hyperlink creators — and learners, friends — you all! — to share what you're working on.
There are basically two forms I imagine this taking:
If you're interested in either of the above, please let me know, I'd love to hear what you'd like to share! For option (1) feel free to send me a submission directly; for option (2) just a brief pitch with some ideas is great to start.
Very open to hearing general meta-thoughts too! I'm working on some other improvements to refactor the Hyperlink newsletter and appreciate any ideas for how to make this more valuable and better share what we're up to :)
