Announcing Projects With Friends: Audio Calls, Realtime Presence, and Notifications in Hyperlink

A couple months ago we announced that we were going deep on making hyperlink a great place to do projects together with close collaborators, and now we're releasing the output of that!

The big new features are:

• audio calls, to be able to communicate with your collaborators while in a space without juggling different windows and contexts
• realtime presence, so when you're in a space together you can see where people are and what they're doing
• and notifications, which if you enable, let you know when people are chatting with you inside a space!

There's also a bunch of smaller things like organizing your spaces by most recently updated, so it's easier to get to where stuff has been happening, and a new backlinks system to show you everywhere a card has been referenced.

After this we'll be taking a couple weeks to do some maintenance work in the app, and after that we'll be narrowing down on another use-case, most likely focusing on events, calendars, and organizing things through time. P.S: You may notice this newsletter is not quite as eloquent as we usually are. This unfortunate drop in quality is because our co-founder has recently embarked on the most exciting project with his best friend and is off on paternal leave!
