An update on Leaflet, our new collaborative document tool

Hi all, quick update — the Hyperlink newsletter has been quiet, as we've been busy building Leaflet, our new app for collaborative document creation & publishing!

It's still early but Leaflet feels promising — fun and flexible, easier to use than Hyperlink, and in service of things we've long been exploring around collaborative creative work and learning.

We've been shipping a lot, pretty quickly! We launched with a simple block editor with nested pages and theming. Since v0.1 we've added:

• powerful outliner mode (with folding and checklists)

• homepage for all your leaflets

• experimental features like mailboxes to subscribe to docs

• most recently, canvas pages and embed blocks

We've also hosted three writing events in NYC, and recently gave $100 microgrants to 10 delightful document creators!
