Kartik was bestowed with the National Entrepreneurship Award. Their company has demonstrated with sanitary pads, that ultra low cost, well designed machines can be built well to deliver high quality products. This breaks the myth of needing higher speed equipment to lower the cost of production. Their model is a mammoth encouragement & example for decentralised manufacturing, for creating entrepreneurs & employment and for considering machine building as a focussed career option.
