It Looks Like The Original's Been Deleted
This is a problem with the form I suppose, the transient nature of everything, and how every letter relies on ultimately unreliable sources to provide context, since people can quit and erase their Twitters with no warning, but hey on a geological scale that’s how all of this works. Anyways, back to the picture. If you’re not familiar with his work, Ari Fleischer was the White House Press Secretary under the cokehead Bush, during the run-up period to the war in Iraq, so whatever he’s doing now is probably less ghoulish but looking up any more facts about him right now is beyond me.
Just know that, despite caping and lying for the war, despite whatever stomach-churning shit he’s up to nowadays, it didn’t and doesn’t pay well enough for him to buy legit PS4 controllers for his kids. That or he’s too dumb to tell the difference, who’s to say, the PS4 is probably just a PS1 with a number painted behind it. Now I’m imagining him combing the surface of the controller when the game is saying press Square to continue, wondering why crescent moon or acute angle or that elevator-ass P4 button aren’t doing it. Facts should never get in the way of whatever dumb xenophobic point you wanted to make though.
Watch this: Ugly Delicious - available via Netflix
Right now, the idea watching a documentary series about dining out might feel masochistic, who knows what even this simple act may look like in months or years (remember when we went out without getting our temperatures taken at the door and checking in to some contact tracing app? MEMORIES). However, Ugly Delicious, which recently launched its second season, is worth checking out for the way it takes a cuisine, dish or even ingredient, and uses it as a springboard to allow host/chef David Chang to explore some of the stickier issues in the culinary world, like equal representation and diversity in the world of fine dining, all the way to pre-conceived notions we have about certain cuisines of the world. The second season especially improves in this aspect, but both are worth a look.
Deadspin blog! Remember Deadspin? It’s back, in blog form! To celebrate the holiday tomorrow, sports site Deadspin is returning for a week as Unnamed Temporary Sports Blog, after a brief stint around the Super Bowl. While now might seem an odd time to be launching a new sports site, given the…lack of sports going on at the moment, it’s nice to see the band get back together, however brief it may be.
I’d like to know a little bit more, any bit more really, about what this store’s deal is.
Sorry, what these store’s deals are. Never not a deal. Given the size of the footprint it seems unlikely that it’s just a specialty shop, but the eye level windows are all covered up so it’s tough to see what’s inside, but if they’re guaranteeing 100% deal saturation…
It was worth an ask, weedhitler
I’d like more insight into the decision-making process that led to the official Twitter account of a nation to be run in the same way as the Depressed Steak-Umms account. And not that there’s a great nation to be doing it that way, but especially this one should probably stop. Also with no capitalization clues I’m assuming it’s Wee Dhitler and not Weed Hitler but any corrections are welcome.
This short story from someone who’s able to visualize the entirety of the motion picture SHREK is more relatable than you’d think, but should still be grounds for involuntary committal. I’m close to that with some movies, like err RUSH HOUR 2 among others and I agree that it’s mostly a curse.
Finally, with everything going on, you’d think the election in November would be a lay-up, but then it seems like most of the team that ran 2016 are getting the band back together as well, which means we’re probably all dead, but this feels like an accurate summary of the philosophy behind centrism and the Democratic establishment.
