What is a Joke Bucket Piece?

We’ve found that there’s one type of piece that seems to consistently challenge nearly all humor writers: Joke bucket pieces. They’re a true test of a writer's sensibility, joke writing skill, and ability to balance a piece. If you’re going to work on one, there are a few things that you’ll want to keep in mind. But to start, let’s define what we mean by a joke bucket piece.
