Finding and Working With an Illustrator
We often hear from writers who have ideas for illustrated humor pieces but are running into a fairly major problem: They need someone to actually DO the illustrations.
Finding an illustrator to collaborate with can be more challenging than you might think. Illustrators who work on humor pieces are always going to be in high demand. There are more writers looking for someone to illustrate their pieces than there are illustrators who are looking for writers to partner with. After all, illustrators are often also writers themselves, and have their own ideas and projects that they want to work on.
