The story that caught my eye this week was Apple taking a loud (principled) stance most likely in response to alleged government demands for “backdoors” to be built into Apple encryption.

Warrant canary aside, this action may further reasoned discussion on balancing for the merits of end to end encryption (E2EE), individual freedoms, individual privacy, national security, willful government ignorance of maths, and government overreach.
