The Sourdough Framework

https://github.com/hendricius/the-sourdough-framework

Summary: The Sourdough Framework is an open-source book that aims to provide a framework for making the best possible sourdough bread at home. Rather than providing recipes, the book intends to provide information that enables bakers to bake bread in their respective environments. The book is created by the author of the repositories the-bread-code and pizza-dough and intends to go one step deeper into the workings of natural fermentation while providing scientific references. The book can be built using Docker or LaTeX.

https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2023/05/apple-previews-live-speech-personal-voice-and-more-new-accessibility-features/

Summary: Apple has announced new accessibility features for cognitive, speech, and vision accessibility, including Assistive Access, Live Speech, and Point and Speak in Magnifier. These features will be available later this year and will use on-device machine learning to ensure user privacy. Assistive Access will help users with cognitive disabilities use iPhone and iPad with greater ease and independence by distilling apps and experiences to their essential features. Live Speech will allow nonspeaking individuals to type to speak during calls and conversations, while Personal Voice will enable those at risk of losing their ability to speak to create a synthesized voice that sounds like them. Detection Mode in Magnifier will offer Point and Speak, which identifies text users point toward and reads it out loud to help those who are blind or have low vision interact with physical objects. These features were designed with feedback from members of disability communities to support a diverse set of users.
