The human Y chromosome has been completely sequenced

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-06457-y

Summary: Scientists from the Telomere-to-Telomere (T2T) consortium have successfully sequenced the complete 62,460,029-base-pair sequence of a human Y chromosome. The complex structure of the Y chromosome has made it difficult to sequence and assemble. The new sequence corrects multiple errors in the existing GRCh38-Y reference and adds over 30 million base pairs, providing a comprehensive reference for all 24 human chromosomes.
