History.Workshoppin’: Special Issue 7.5 (October 2025)
Hey there, friends! I’m writing a quick off-cycle newsletter to share some exciting news:
I’m leading my Quenching Brooklyn’s Thirst tour with the Brooklyn Brainery this month! Join me on October 25 at 1:30, or for a special indoor lecture edition on December 4 at 6:30 (ticket link TK, but save the date), for what will hopefully be the beginning of a lengthy and fruitful partnership with the Brainery, whose classes I’ve taken for the last thirteen years.
I was part of a group of urbanists and activists who recorded a video for the New York City Municipal Arts Society’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal ceremony. I couldn’t make it to the MAS event earlier this week, but I hope the video inspired folks to support the organization (and their attendant Jane’s Walk NYC tours), and to wonder, “when’s that dude going to get a haircut?” (Yeah, yeah, I know, soon.)
