Somewhere there is a rule that haiku shouldn’t rhyme. I broke it.
It is one rule I return to breaking from time to time. Maybe it’s from coming to poetry via songwriting. Or maybe it’s because I like the way rhymes read.
Or maybe it’s because I can’t break the school-ingrained Western obsession with rhyming verse.
