"It's Over" by Filter
I've been listening to the band Bleed here and there. They have some members from Narrow Head, and they are part of what I guess you could call this swirly-grunge revival along with Narrow Head, Soul Blind, Downward, and trauma ray, among plenty of others. Bands that sound like they steadily dose Hum, Soundgarden, Deftones, and more contemporary bands like Nothing and Cloakroom. The way Bleed represents their name across their EPs reminded me a lot of Filter's design template. Filter was all over the radio when I was a kid, but only for "Hey Man Nice Shot" or "Take My Picture," both of which are great songs. But I bought a copy of Short Bus recently and it feels good to reconnect more sincerely with an album that had serious radio play but I never put much energy into.
