We recently completed a Small Area Plan, Financial Feasibility Analysis, and Shared Equity Ownership Analysis for a small neighborhood in downtown Warrenton. Our client, Fauquier Habitat for Humanity, has focused its work on the Haiti Street corridor, a historically significant African American enclave in the town. For over a year, we worked with FHFH to analyze each site, understand neighborhood context, and develop potential scenarios for redevelopment of certain sites for affordable housing. Today, FHFH is using a shared equity analysis tool we developed to explore a community land trust model to serve this community.
