π The Last 2023 Update
Happy New Year's Eve! π₯³ It's the last day of 2023, and 432 days since publicizing the Theseus75 project. Reflecting on this year and all the amazing people I've met along the way, I can't express my gratitude enough for your support and interest. I am truly excited for what 2024 will bring. πΎ
As we wrap up the year, I wanted to share a few stats with you about the project since the beginning of 2023:
- β³ More than 1,900 hours spent (that's nearly 40 hours a week) on project-related work π±
- β Nearly 500 new interest check submissions
- π₯ 274 new members in the Discord server
- π 223 CAD revisions, with 8 major prototype revisions
- π¦ 47 prototype part orders
- πΈ A frankly embarrassing amount spent on said orders
- β€οΈ An immeasurable amount of support from friends, family, and fellow enthusiasts
December Updates
Speaking of orders, there are a few items currently in production:
- New carrying case samples with a zippered pouch, protective flap, and updated EVA foam insert for better handling of each split half
- Bronze knob samples with an updated knurling pattern
- The Poseidon blue frame (this is the only non-stock colorway from the manufacturer, so I'm especially excited to see this one in person) π
In the meantime, I have been working on putting together an official haver.works site with a detailed project page for the TheseusβI can't wait to unveil it. We are also finishing up a few minor adjustments to the PCB design and hope to have the latest revision in production as soon as possible.
With that, here's to a crazy year, and to the exciting times ahead. π₯ Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Alex
