🗓️ April Updates

Theseus75

Mark your calendars, friends: the Group Buy date for the Theseus75 is finally set. 🥳

TL;DR: GB dates, reviewers, knob collab, and vendor changes announced; TexMechs photos posted.

What a busy month! So much to share—but let's start with the most important announcement: The Theseus75 Group Buy is currently scheduled for June 10th to June 30th! (*Exhales in anxiety.*) I'll be updating Geekhack, Discord, and any other bulletin with all the relevant information and pricing in the coming days, so keep an eye out. 👀

Reviews

During the GB, we'll have a roundup of trusted reviewers that will be streaming their build of the board and sharing their thoughts:

  • Alexotos
  • Taeha Types
  • Captain Sterling
  • Nainaigogo
  • Dutchmasterw
  • Jae (ProtoTypist)

If you don't already regularly subscribe to their stuff, I highly recommend—they are always welcoming and enjoyable to watch, and are both collectively and individually a trove of knowledge. 🫶

Collaborations

In addition to the previously announced collab with VoxelMods for custom-designed cables, I am also excited to share that we'll be teaming up with ecto from Protozoa Studio to offer custom knobs during the Group Buy. ✨ Again, keep an eye out in the coming days and weeks for more info and sneak peeks!

Vendor Updates

Since the project was first announced in 2022, so much has changed; not just with the board, but within the community as well. With some vendors ramping up, some scaling down, and some pivoting their focus, naturally those able to participate would need to change too. Below are the vendors that will be participating in the Theseus75 Group Buy for each region:

  • US: Dangkeebs
  • Canada: Deskhero
  • UK: Proto[Typist]
  • EU: KEYGEM
  • Oceana: ALL CAPS
  • Philippines: Zion Studios
  • Singapore: iLumkb
  • Vietnam: MOKB Store

Meetups

Lastly, this month held not one, but two major keyboard meetups (unfortunately both on the same day)! 😭 Though some attended KeyCon in Salt Lake City, I had the pleasure of attending the TexMechs Keyboard Roundup in Dallas this past weekend, which was nothing short of impressive. Meeting new people, seeing faces behind [user]names, and connecting with old friends made for an incredibly memorable meet. ❤️ I also want to extend a HUGE shout-out to the organizers, who spent countless hours ensuring that the event was inviting, engaging, and community-focused—and it did not go unnoticed. Thanks again to everyone who made it possible!

That wraps up this month's updates; as always, thanks for following along and taking the time to be a part of this project. 🫶
