Fireside Chat w. James Kinsella '82 (Former Co-President, MSNBC)
Hi everyone,
HAVAC is hosting its third fireside chat with James Kinsella '82 (Chairman, D4 Investments | Former Co-President, MSNBC) this Thursday.
Jim is a serial entrepreneur widely regarded as a pioneer of web-based digital media, including during his tenure as a Microsoft executive and co-president of MSNBC in the 1990s. Together with his husband and longtime business partner, Bob McNeal, Jim built the largest independent fiber-optic network spanning the European Union. He is a founder and partner of D4 Investments, a venture firm that helps entrepreneurs build Deep Tech solutions in robotics, artificial intelligence, and quantum applications. Jim is also a member of Haverford's Board of Managers and Entrepreneur Advisory Board.
He'll share what it took to build a news product on the early internet, navigate the NBC–Microsoft partnership, and bet on the next frontier — from the dial-up era to today.
Thu, Apr 23 | 7-8 PM | VCAM Lounge & Kitchen
