Caring for the abandoned children of Kenya since 2002
We are always thankful when God uses us to be His hands and feet to provide for abandoned children in Kenya. We continue to provide safe haven and love to so many precious babies. Since January 2024 we have rescued 34 children. This number has brought our rescues to 993 since inception in 2002. The task at hand is never easy as we strive to provide the best care to these children but with the help of such faithful partners like you, we are able to keep moving forward. As we have said before, we may not be able to change the whole world, but we are changing the whole world for one child at a time. Please meet below some of the newest rescues of Happy Life Mission.
June 29th was a special day at the Happy Life Mission, as we planted close to 10,000 trees at our Faith Premier High School. We were excited to be part of the efforts by our government and other well-meaning organizations, to plant a million trees in Kenya, in an effort to improve our environment.

The students planted trees, making the lessons they learn in class practical. They each adopted several trees to care for.
Sharing one’s time, as well as resources, to give the children of Happy Life a better life has been proven to be a priceless blessing to both the children and the partners who are able to visit. In partnering with us to support them, age is just a number! If ever you thought you’re too young or too old to serve others, then Betsy should be your inspiration today!
Wilmington Christian School’s Mission Trip to Happy Life!
It's been truly wonderful to welcome numerous volunteer groups who generously dedicate their time and effort to support our mission. Most recently, we were thrilled to host a delightful group of students and staff from Wilmington Christian School. Their presence brought joy and their assistance was invaluable, making their time with us incredibly enjoyable!
This marked the second visit from the school's team, and their return sparked tremendous excitement among our children. They relish the opportunity to engage with peers their own age, sharing in diverse life experiences and forging meaningful connections. After all, what child wouldn't treasure the chance to bond with fellow young men and women?
Hello to all who have an interest in Happy Life Mission and the people of Kenya. Please excuse the second email regarding the flooding in Kenya. Mark and I are learning all the tasks of the founding US directors of Happy Life Mission. As you probably noticed we have started to use Buttondown as our email and newsletter media tool. I did not attach the video to the first email regarding the flooding in Kenya. It can be viewed below.
Please visit our website at Happylifemission.org if God is leading you to aid the people of Kenya through the work of Happy Life Mission and Overcoming Faith Church in Nairobi.
There has been a lot of rain during the previous two weeks of April, which has caused severe flooding around the nation. Homes have been wrecked, roads have turned into waterways, and sewers and rivers have overflowed.
Homes have been literally immersed in water
More than 200,000 people have been displaced, property, infrastructure, and livelihoods have been devastated nationwide, and socioeconomic vulnerabilities have been made worse by the floods, which have also claimed at least 170 lives.
